GENTING!!!!

Over the Christmas weekend, my wife's company organised a trip to Genting as a family outing for the company. All spouse & family was invited as it was also a company dinner bash. Myself & my wife arrived at Awana Genting slightly earlier so as to confirm our room booking. We booked 3 bookings consisting of 1 suite (for Kenny's parents) & 2 junior suites at Tower Hotel. The Junior Suites have 3 bedrooms, a minibar & a small living area.

Most of the troops arrive at about dinner time, hence Gotong Jaya was the place to be for dinner. SAM our local tour guide suggested Restaurant Sin Kee (or something like that) for dinner. Sam was accompanied by his lovely wife & son (TIM).

We ordered a total of 7 dishes, this included the restaurants most famous dish - roasted pork leg. Sam also ordered a steam PATIN fish which cost us more than a hand & leg. But overall the food wasn't that bad, but edible. The dinner was proudly paid for by the staffs of the company. THANKS to JESS, ELAYNE & JASON for the lovely dinner.
This trip was also for Jetstar Bowling Team closed Championship. 3 cheers for the team that took the initiative to haul our bowling balls all the way to the top of the mountain for this annual event. The close event was participated by 8 of the team members, Kevin Wong couldn't make it on time due to personal reasons???????

We ended that day with the company's annual dinner which was a sumptuous Steamboat & Teppanyaki prepared by all of us. The amount of seafood prepared by Mr.Yap (picture) was astonishing. It looked that it was prepared for 50 people instead of 25. Everyone kept on eating & eating....and the food was like never ending...... food kept coming to the steamboat boiler...

Just as everyone thought well .... their stomach filled, LUCKY Draw session was on next. Mr. Yap was praying hard for a moile phone, (wife lost 1 earlier).... his prayers was answered.- he got the mobile on his lucky draw pick. Even the kids got their prizes as well.

Everyone had a good time, the kids played around together as the company bosses & staff gather to mingle with wives and husbands, boyfriends & girl friends so as the wiser group. I personally think that even the maids had a good time.
